Changing dates on photos on digital camera.?

Question

I have a Kodak "EasyShare C653". After changing the batteries, I forgot to reset the date. Now I've got "01/01/2006" on a lot of my recent photos.

Is there a way that I can go in and change the date on them to the date that I know when I took the pictures?

Would appreciate any help, and I thank you!

EXIFTOOL will let you change the various headers in an image file. Warning, it's a command line program, thus, not very easy to use. You can use wildcards to change all the images at once.

If you can't handle command line programs, there is a friendly GUI for exiftool. I haven't tried exiftoolgui, so I can't vouch for it.
