Changing destiny in one stroke?

One of my friends who was an indian citizen migrated from India to Canada. In one stroke, he migrated from a developing country to a developed country.

Dont you think his destiny is changed since he avoided all the pain a developing country like india offers and settled in a developed country like canada.

  1. Of course.  And the Canadians brain drained India.

Limited immigration is not a problem, although it would be far better for the individual if he immigrated to a country with his cultural preferences rather than immigrating to a country where he has to impose his religion and beliefs on the people of that country.

  2. No, that is the cowardly way out.

  3. Who are you man? I don't know why you are so much excited for this...

  4. You seem to be going overboard about a developing

country and a developed country. The difference that you think will be in the life style of your friend is going to be notional or even disappointing to him.I am sure you have heard of the old saw that "the pasture is always greener on the other side".You think that India is the boondocks. Not so.One can make any place a

heaven on earth with the right attitude to life.It is still too early for your friend to get over the fact that he has

migrated to an artificial world.Soon he will wake up to the realities of life and realise what he is missing.Get him to sever all his ties to his old world completely. Then let him say he likes the change.

    Anyway,Good Luck to him.

  5. He's changing to better life and opportunity for himself.
