Changing euros to australian dollars?

HMM.. I changed some foreign currency today. I did not go to a bank. It was a place that said no fees no comission. I changed 420 euros into australian dollars i got around 690 australian dollars back.

I looked on the websites beforehand , and it says 720 dollars ???? hmmm how could this be.

was i shortchanged by 20 or 30 dollars??

maybe a fee ??

different exchange rates?

  2. foreign exchange rates change minute to minute.  it will be a different amount if you go back right now.....
