Changing face in picture

Question

My friend took a horrible picture of me with Xanadu from family force 5. He looks great, I don't. Is there anyway to change how my face looks? haha thanks if you can help!

with programs like photoshop and paintshop-pro you can almost re-do any image or portrait, adjust lighting and contrast, move and repaint parts, there are some tutorials on line, and better resolution quality images help,
