Question:

Changing flights in Abu Dhabi?

Can anybody advise on transferring flights in Abu Dhabi? My 19yr old sister will have 1h30min - is it enough? At Etihad they say that min. transfer time is 1h, so 1h30min should be ok. However, I'm concerned as my sister will be flying alone long-haul for the first time so I don't want her to get stuck in some other continent. What do you think?

  1. Taking a connected flight, your sister does not have to claim her luggage which takes the most time. She even does not have to through customs. An hour should be enough time to change planes. Please tell your sister to approach any Airport staff to help her out (in case of any complication). Staff at Abu Dhabi Airport is very well trained and helpful.

Your sister is no child no more. Please do not worry. In case of any problems she just has to ask for help anybody who wears an uniform and whe will be helped. Beside this, Abu Dhabi Airport isn't that big (and it's round) and gates are easy to find.

    Take care and relax.
