  1. I changed from Prozac to Lexapro and I feel that it works better. I of course tried celexa also, with no results. I must say that I started on the 10mg and within a week noticed that it needed to be increased, so I have been on 20mg for about 2 months and feel good. It may take 1-2 weeks, but you should be able to tell if it is going to work. I have 3 immediate family members on Lexapro, and we all have good results. Good luck with it. Just hang there, it will get better. When the one family member is out of her meds, she can usually tell a difference within a week of restarting it, but of course we are all different. Just give it a try.

  2. Cipralex is an isomer of Cipramil, so don't get your hopes up. Strange as it may seem, you've already got Cipralex in your system, as it is one of the two isomers which make up Cipramil. The main differences between Cipramil and Cipralex are that Cipralex has far fewer side-effects, can be used at lower doses, has a faster onset of action, and does not cause sedation or weight-gain. It's unlikely that you'll notice much difference aside from side-effects.
