  1. 4 to 6 hours realisticly....by a pro

  2. if you pull the heads off that one you also need to take them and have them checked for hair line cracks and warp-age in them, i see a lot of those with small cracks in them from getting hot, ordinary time on that one would be about 6-8 hours on doing this providing you have the heads already done, and that's cleaning everything back up really good,do your self a big favor though and steam clean the engine off before you start on it ,this makes it a lot easier to work on,good luck with it,don't get in a hurry on this one,if it takes two days take your time with it,its better to have done it right the first time than to have to do it over again,i learned that from experience, good luck.

  3. You alone a few days,-week...You and a Friend a couple days...lots of removal and put back...at a shop, a lot of money and a couple days too...

    best wishes

    [in my opinion]

  4. A 99 is very clean under the hood, I could do it in 3 hours. If you have never done it before get a manual, read it carefully so you can make sure you have everything you need (straight edge, torque wrench, ect..) and a Saturday should be sufficient.

    Good Luck!
