Changing light bulb in Hobby 1016

Question

I CANNOT get my fingers close enough to insert a new bulb. It took forever to get the old one out, but inserting the new seems to be impossible. Is there an easy way to do this? I would gladly remove the casing but cannot see how to do this either. Thanks for you help.
