  1. Possibly, How much slack do you have?

  2. Stock bars are safer than the wide ones for turning in tight traffic.

  3. i dont know

  4. Easiest way is to go to the dealer who has the replacement bars and hold them up to your bike right next to the existing ones.

The wiring for indicators, horn and start/kill switch can easily be extended, your real problem will be with the control cables for clutch, brake and twistgrip, unless you have enough slack they may bind or rub when you turn the bars.

  5. To be on the safe side, always expect to make modifications when installing custom parts.

Manufactures of aftermarket parts include additional hardware and modification procedures for each item they sell for a paticular model.

  6. Grab a hold of the wiring & pull it and see how much extra you have. piece of cake.

  7. Throttle and clutch will probably have to be changed. There are extension wire harnesses that just plug in and give ya more length.

If the dealer wont work with ya go to a reputable indie shop and bend his ear a bit. Talk to other Soprtster owners about thier bars. Investigate....the wrong bars suck on long rides!
