Changing orthodontist in the middle?

I put braces few months back but I have to leave the country after 1 year.

Is it normal to transfer my case to another orthodontist?

transfer of case? depends on your new orthdontist if he uses the same tecnique as the old one. Usually many tecniques are used, like Beggs, edgewise or straing wire.

This is normal. They can't expect you to stay tethered to this doc forever.  Pick another one and tell them the situation when you set up the initial appointment.  Make sure that you are covered the same way (insurance wise).

I did it and everything went ok.  They just transfer all of your info and x-rays from your old ortho to your new one.
