is there a way to change the regon code on the dvd itself? if not, then is there a way to change the region code on a PS2?

  1. You can't change the region code on a DVD disc short of copying it and recording it on another disc with the new region code.  

    To change the region code on the PS2 requires it to be chipped as far as I know.
