When I first bought this sony hd recorder about two years ago, I changed the remote command mode to dvd1 to stop interference with other sony equipment. Recently, the remote stopped working so I bought a new one. However, the factory setting for the remote and hd recorder is dvd3, so it does not work. The manual does not show how to change the remote command mode WITHOUT a remote control. Can someone please tell me how to reset the command mode to dvd3 in order to use the remote control?
