Changing stock cd stereo on 05 F150?

Okay. So i bought an 05 Lariat F150. too bad it came with the sorry lame basic level stereo. 1 cd. n thats it.

Do u think its possible to exchange it with a stereo of a higher end lariat, that offers the MP3 6 CD changer and AUX plug ? will it just be a simple, connect the colors ?

remember it comes with the steering wheel adjustable volume control

you can put just about any aftermarket stereo in it you want and still have the steering whell feature as long as a new wire harness is bought along with new stereo
