i got an awesome greywash koi the other week, which i am very impressed with. yet i opted to get the 6 accompanying cherry blossoms in colour, and the pink etc just doesnt sit right with me.

is it possible to go over this when its healed in black and grey, or even a darker red over the pink if that isnt possible?

im kinda stressing about it, i love the tat, but am not diggin' the cherry blossom colours. looks a tad girly on a greywash tat.

thankyou so much people!!

ps i havnt asked my tattooist yet as im a bit nervous lol

  1. Starbrite makes an awesome 'crimson red', if your artist has it, and it's as far from being 'girly' as you can get. Yeah, you can go over it... no problem.

  2. Any shade/color can be covered as long as your skin is still able to hold the ink. That's how people who get names or something like tattooed get it covered when things end up not working out. lol.

  3. thats not going to be a problem, especially as its only pink you want covered, not a dark clour like black or geen. just wait till its all fully healed and go back to your artist, if its only a small area he may even do it for free as your not happy with his work, or just a small touch up fee

i hope you love it when its done!

  4. yes, you can.
