Changing the Rugby World Cup winning side?

I read that the administrators want to increase the quota of coloured players in the team by getting rid of the 'white' players in the current team. Opinions on this matter?

im a Kiwi and have always classed the Bokkes as the foe when i was a young falla and even till now.It was hard for us to take a side to the republic because of the segregation laws.The Yaapies has always classed Rugby to be a white playing sport especially internationally and the blacks and coloreds played soccer .

Look if they are good enough to make it in skill and show heaps of potential to be a good international give them a chance like everyone else.Dnt put them in because of political reasons or quota.Listen if us New Zealanders were put players in by racial quota,we would have 4 or 5 chinese or asian players who probably wouldnt make a N.P.C side......man it would be a disaster.I say pick on performance not on color.

After South Africas history i can see why they would want to make sure that no discrimination will happen again in sport and having a certain quota of coloured guys in the clubs make sense but no at an international level. If you could pick 30 coloured guys to go to a world cup on the merit that they are the best 30 players in the country then fair enough and same for the white guys. Having a certain quota black is still isolating them from the rest especially if there are other better players out there, if they want all to be equal they need to find a non-bias coach who will see all the players equal and judge based on performance and talent, who knows then there may be 15 black players there on their own steam rather then to fill the numbers that the Government set.

South Africa has come a long way in the last years but by making a quota of black players is still classing people into seperate catagories, the only quota for a world cup should be the 30 best players from South Africa, and sure some white guys might lose out to some coloured guys and the other way around but then there would be no racism just talent and honest talent like in other countries.

In Ireland the same would be something like X amount of players have to come from Ulster because of the Irish history, would it be fair on the others, people arent happy with quotas and even though people have their opinions on the quality of players out their let the performances and field record do the talking.
