Alright, so I have a picture on facebook that I'm trying to upload onto another website. When I save it and try to upload it, it's in the wrong format (it has the icon picture for safari for mac computers). How do I take this picture that was on facebook and change the format to '.gif' or '.jpg' so that I can then upload it? Thanks for the help!

  1. right clik the pic and clik save as then underneath where u type the name of the pic in it has formats just change that to wateva u need 2 change it 2

  2. this website is great

    media-convert.com

  3. You need to right click on the picture and select "Save Picture As...". All Facebook pictures are changed to .jpg anyways so you should be fine.

If its turns into something like a .bmp or something else, open up a photo editing program (Paint, Photoshop etc.) and click Save As and select from the dropdown.

  4. just open the picture on your computer and go to save as, choose the .jpg or .gif option in the drop down menu just beside the spot you type in to save it.  You can even  use Paint to open it and resave it
