Changing the position?

Question

Could you please advise me which is the important or the good one in the company HR department or Procurement & contracts department

although i was in the first one but i could not stay there too long ..

Are you asking what position in the human resources department is best to apply for?

Or which is best position, between Procurement nd HR department?

Personally, I'd pick HR, because they will be funded longer, sort of last one to turn out the lights, when business turns sour.

Procurement is great, as long as a business needs to buy more, and is not cutting back.

More chance for advancement in HR, because they know where all the jobs are, what skills are needed, and who has best chance to win each opening.

It's not always how long you stay in a position, as long as each move,  change in job is a promotion, or moving to a job with more reponsiblity.

Once you start moving down, the slide is steep.
