  1. fashion / themes / morals have influenced vice-versa between film and society.  after the great war,  moral attitudes, women's dressing changed.  reflected with marily monroe, and slowly it got better for maniacs and bad for the moralists.  social   trends have also changed.  

    blacks were not seen nor heard till sidney poitier in guess who is coming for dinner.  and slowly attitude towards black changed too but of course still a long way to go.  

    hollywood was all about the west / western ideals etc but now with globalization, jackie chan, joy luck club show the changes and the smallness of the world as one global family.  

    camera tricks, cinematography is improving by leaps and bounds.  the dinosaurs look so real, isnt it?
