Chanting at the olympics?

has chanting at the olympics been banned, cause i've never really noticed it during any of the events. If so, when was it banned and why?

  1. NO, CHANTING HASN'T BEEN BANNED...I'VE HEARD IT IN GYMNASTICS AND SOFTBALL...AND YOU CAN ROOT FOR YOUR FAVORITE PLAYER/ATHLETE TOO, YOU JUST CAN'T CHANT DEROGOTORY THINGS OR THEY WILL PROBABLY KICK YOU OUT OF THERE!!


  2. Chanting is RARE, and i mean RARE, in sports other than futebol (soccer). countries ( except america, they never chant ) usually have their own way of chanting....so yeah its not banned :)

  3. Chanting has not been banned, but only authorised chants such as "Go Go China, Go Go Olympics" and "Yea (name of country)" ar allowed

  4. Well at the beach volley ball when the Aussies are playing there's nothing but: AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!!! OI! OI! OI! AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!!! OI! OI! OI!
