Chapped Nipples, HELP!

Question

I have a serious condition. I don't know why but for some reason I have chapped nipples. Do I put moisturiser on or would that make it worse? SHould I just let them chippy chap away?? Im too scared to show my partner my b***s now!!

If you feel a burning sensation then that just means they're growing. This happened to me during puberty but I can't imagine why it would happen to an adult. Try Vaceline or Cocoa Butter.. perhaps some Baby Oil.

Cocoa Butter or Shea Butter is always great for chapness...Have U considered seeing a dermatologist?

put a dab of vaseline on them throughout the day and it will go away in a bit. but only use vaseline, cause other creams sometimes cause irritation

Libby- Your tanning aren't you? It is SO VERY IMPORTANT you cover your nipples when tanning. They are as sensitive as.. well I don't know but your putting yourself at serious risk girl. I used to use sticky eye covers. Use something. The dead skin will come off but moisturize continuously meantime.

truthfully try vaseline and if that doesnt work as weird as it will feel try a chapstick such as carmex

Try lanolin cream.  It is for breastfeeding moms because their nipples get really chapped. Anyone can use it though and it works wonders.  As far as moisturizer I wouldn't because the nipples are very sensitive and moisturizer has perfumes in it then irritate the nipple.  I hope this helps.

I had them after i gave birth but i don't think its uncommon at all. There is this product that my dr recommended called Lanolin that u can get at wal mart and it works soooooo well

I'm not sure if you have kids but if you don't what you can do is go to the store in the baby aisle and they have cream and wipes called Lansinoh. It worked wonders for me and their is no alcohol so it won't burn. Just use the wipes through the day and apply the same brand cream on and around them. I promise it will go away
