Chapter 27 the movie?

This looks like a very good movie. I will be renting next weekend hopefully. What is Chapter 27? And this is a true story right? What crime did he commit that was so notorious? Thank you :)

I've never heard of it, but these three people seem to thiki it has something to do with when Chapman killed Lennon in front of his apt. bldg in NYC in 1980. I can't believe they'd make a movie out of it. P.S. I picked 30,000 #1 in yahoo because I'd never seen a total higher than 27,000. I see yours is way up there. So I may have to change mine to 90,000 top y/a contributer.

This movie was not bad.  I had my doubts.  Especially when I read Lindsay Lohan would be in it.  But luckily she was not in it for much.  Jared Leto did a good job portraying Mark David Chapman-the man who shot and Killed John Winston Lennon of The Beatles. It is based upon the true accounts of what went down that night. And a couple days before-explaining what was going through Chapman's mind.  

Chapman was obsessed with the book "The Catcher in the Rye:" a book so concerned with phonies everywhere.  Anyways, the last chapter in the book is chapter 26, thus they titled this movie Chapter 27. Hope you like it.

He killed John Lennon, you know, The Beatle? Dude, if you don't know who John Lennon is, or the Beatles, then im speechless. That's really Jared Leto by the way. He gained all the weight for the film. Even though the dude that killed John wasn't THAT fat.
