I'm going to England for one semester .What are some things that I need to know about English people?

We will make fun of you, but don't take it personally.

We will attack everything you stand for, again, don't take it personally.

We will use slang as much as possible just to confuse you.

Like I've already posted in one reply here, try and get hold of the book "Lessons From The Land Of Pork Scratchings" by Greg Gutfeld. It's a good read and you'll learn a lot about the UK.
