  1. A modern tradition is to distort and/or elongate things meaninglessly. I give my simple answer. To ease understanding, think of "framing" that photographers say, to have a beautiful photograph. This "frame" leaves out details that mar the picture. This idea is not too difficult to understand. Likewise, the fairytale is characterized by a "frame" of fair life! Fair means goodness and tale means living story! Thus, fairytale means the "frame" that creates a goodness life that we conceptualize as Heaven! Note that character means identity or substance. Thus, your rephrased question is, "What is the principal substance of a fairytale?" That explains the "framing" idea.

Now, I explain the fairytale frame itself on the basis of the foregoing explanation of "frame." Refer to some fairytale stories (available on the Internet)and you will start noticing what this "frame" is. This "frame" is made of the classical opening/ending lines, "Once upon a time......and they lived happily ever after!" Become aware of the intuitive appeal of this classical "frame;" only then you will understand that your purpose is to fulfill the dotted lines in-between the opening and closing words! Your such creation must be harmonious. When you do that, your creation automatically harmonizes with the classical opening and closing and you have a fairytale that does tell the story of Angelic life in Heaven! This earth is not Heaven as people write stories with Profit and Loss only. So we need people who want to write stories of Goodness!

All Goodness stems from God only, our maker! God is not made of tons of money but god is made of Goodness! Thus, fairytale is kindergarten version of scriptures that modern people understand nothing. So, fairytale is an easy introduction to goodness while scripture is the introduction to God. One who does not understand fairytale, will never understand God. So, keep up with your good works! It inspires me! Do not hesitate to ask for more details if you happen to like my answer.
