You may wish to look up various books written about Orchids covering Singapore and Southeast Asia (or keyword Malaya), we have some recommendations like Growing Tropical Orchids by Lee Fong Ying (recently published in 2007),  or A guide to the wild orchids of Singapore by Peter O'Bryne (2005) or Orchid hybrids of Singapore: 1893-2003 by John Elliot (2005).  

If you are interested in only the National Flower Vanda Miss Joaquim, we would recommend that you consider the book Biology of Vanda Miss Joaquim by Hew Choy Sin (2002).
