Characterization??????

Question

pretend that your town has a special board made up of citizens who are intersted in helping the community the board has 2 jobs first to recommend special educational programs the town can offer the children and second to think of ways the town can ay for the special programs. Serving on the broad will require a person to spend at least one evening a week participating in various community activities. What character traits do you thinkn a person should have tobe an effective member of this board?

Having been part of a similar organization, the most important trait for board members seems to be a willingness to attend regularly and for the term of service agreed to.  Second would be an undistorted understanding of how to appropriately advocate for those with disabilities.  Those with personal experience with disabilities and the operational philosophies of agencies in the community would most likely meet this second requirement.
