Charge off "expring" 2009?

I have a charge off on my credit report that says will be there till Feb. 2009. What does that mean?

  1. A charge off stays on your credit files for 7 years which means it was apparently written off back in 2002


  2. unless it is reopen it will be on your record until feb 2009!!!
