  1. Depends where you are.

Some States/Municipalities take it more seriously than others.

In the current political climate, ... you've got a problem.

  2.   did this person have a ccw or cpl license ??????

  3. possession on an unlicensed firearm is an automatic 1 year jail sentence.

  4. Planning on shooting someone??? moron

  5. Yeah, what about it?

You're in a lot of trouble that's for sure. You'll be tried as an adult. If it's first offense they may go light on you but will probably at least involve a few months in jail... I'm not really sure, it depends on what state you live in. If you already have a criminal record you may not be so lucky. You also might want to get a lawyer.

  6. Its hilarious that people are answering a statement to begin with, then they speculate as to what the outcome will be without any real information regarding which state, county, city, etc. this occurred in.  In some places it is a minor misdemeanor and other places a major crime, yet there answers as to the outcome of 1 year in jail, etc..

Come on folks, if you don't know the correct answer for each individual law, state, case, don't  give legal advice.

To the originator of this question, go see an attorney!  Never use these forums as anything more than a think tank, don't take advice from anyone here that involves the law if its your behind in trouble!

  7. And your question would be?  Am I going to Jail (Maybe), Should I do it again and make it a 2nd offense (Probably not)

    See...those are questions...putting a question mark after a statement, doesn't make it a question...

  8. You probably have a question about that.  I don' know what your question is.
