Yahoo does not charge, however your carrier will charge you 10 cents per message without a texting plan. It counts as an outside text (from your carrier) so it will use up your textes, if you have verizon, it counts as a non-verizon text :(, so it uses your textes up be careful not to go over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yahoo! does not charge but your cell carrier might. You would need to find out from your mobile company.
