I just received a gift from a fellow airsoft player a GnP 10.8v 3300mAh battery. So excited till i brought home the batt.

My charger only have selection for :

- 7 cells for 8.4v

- 8 cells for 9.6v

and it just jump to 10 cells for 11 point something voltage.

Soooo...., my question is would that charger charge the battery with that capacity..., 10.8v with 9 cells if i choose the selector for 10 cells ? If it can..., is it safe ?

Thank's before

  1. No problem. The voltage difference is just perfect for it. Your new battery has a high mAh rating too. It may even need a higher voltage to full charge it. You can't charge fully the battery if the charger voltage is just the same voltage (say 10.8V) as the battery at full charge.
