Charging deep cycle batteries?

Can I use a normal 6v/12v battery charger to charge a 12v deep cycle marine battery. Thanks

    Yes.

    Flip your switch on the 12 V . if you have about a 4 amp charger ,,charge it for 4 hours.    8 amp   2 hours. 12 amp an hour.


  2. Yes you can charge it but it is better not to do it often with normal charger. If this is going to be an ongoing thing I would invest in a deep cycle marine charger. The normal charger is designed for normal cranking batteries while a deep cycle charger is designed for deep cycle marine batteries.

  3. You need a deep cycle setting on the battery charger.

  4. Yes, a good trickle charge will work nicely.

    Please disconnect them, and keep them off the concrete floor.
