Charging problem..

i got a new virgin 5gb mp3 player...i accidentally charged my virgin5gb with a "USB Charger" which i got with my mp3 goggles...now wheneveri connect my virgin mp3 player to my computer, it doesnt get detectedat all and instead gives a msg in d player as "Charging"..i guess itstaking my computer as a USB Charger now so its not getting connected atall....
