Does anyone have any ideas on what a great charity would be to raise money for at a Valentine's themed event? I'm thinking something to do with women, couples, children... A group who we could actually give a big old Valentine to along with the check!

Thanks!!

  1. how about the wives and husbands of our troops deployed overseas?

  2. Variety Club

  3. I think it would be great to use the Humane Soceity or some other animal rights group.  You could use the theme in your party decorating!  How about Lady and the Tramp, Bambi and Faline, Pongo and Perdita, Duchess and O'Mally

here is a link for more animal couples

  4. I'm a Veteran of the Vietnam War, combat, Bronze star and Purple Heart, My Idea is to do something for the Veterans that are coming home and the ones that are home that would greatly appreciate it, When I came home we were spit upon this would be a great change for America.

  5. My sister-in-law runs a charity that donates breast milk to African orphans.  Check out www.breastmilkproject.org.  It's perfect for Valentine's Day!

  6. at our church we always do ballon agrams idk if that what your looking for??

  7. careful how you use v-day... this is also a non-profit day that supportes the education and prevention of violence against women. Usually schools will put on eve enslers the v****a monolouges ect. this has very little to do with valentines day but is around the same day...

Good luck with your project but your question confused me at first =)

  8. You could raise money for a local children's hospital. There are hospitals that provide free services for people who don't have coverage.

  9. How about The Humane Society or the ASPCA? Kittens and puppies go hand-in-hand (or should I say, paw-in-paw) with Valentine's Day. These are good charities that could use your help.

  10. some towns idk how many have a program called WIC (women infants and children) which might be a good place or also like a program that supports single families or the abused women in your area....I think that is what you are asking right?
