So...I've been thinking, I'd like to use my money to go to charity.

I'm not old enough to have a job/career really and I'm too young to have a credit card and checking account.

Cash is the only option and I can only mail it since...yeah.

If anyone knows some good charities that your positive aren't scams or something ((well known esp.) then please post the website/cause/charity here please.

Er...I've got St. Judes hospital written down but I don't know if they accept cash

  2. Words of advice "Never send cash through the mail!"  When donating to charities you always want to keep a record of your donation and make sure that they receive it.  If you send cash through the mail there's a chance someone could pocket the money and you would have no way to track it. Good Luck!

  3. yu dont hav NE charitees in yer town kloes nuff yu kan go theer & hand over kash?

  4. I run a home for wayward runaway cheerleaders. Please send your donations to dr.remulac@yahoo.com

  5. It's never wise to mail cash.  Buy a money order - it won't cost much.

  6. The US Postal Service states that you should not mail cash.  Why don't you go to the post office or your local convenience store and pay the $1 fee to get a money order.  You give them your cash, and then you'll have a check to mail them, which is guaranteed funds for them.  Then you don't have to find a charity that will accept cash.

The only charities I know that accept cash are the ones that have collection boxes at places like McDonalds, and the Salvation Army at Christmas time when they have the bell ringers out.

  7. keep your money

  8. you should be able to go into any bank and get a cashiers check even if you don't have an account, or wal-mart, or lots of gas stations can do money orders, so you don't have to send cash, and as far as a charity check this one out http://kidswithacause.org/

  9. Please don't send cash in the mail. Deliver it directly to the office or church and ask for a receipt or send someone you trust.
