Charity shops... who is included on the payroll?

do they have auditors' shareholders..

and how is the money distributed

  1. They certainly don't have shareholders.  They are answerable to the Charities Commission and have to send in their accounts for inspection annually.


  2. No shareholders. The workers get a salary, usually very small.

    The profits are ploughed back into the charity. So that it becomes an perpetual cycle.
