If he really wanted to brag he would have announced the millions that he donates to charitable organizations every year. This kids tuiton is a drop in the bucket to him and just got more press because the kid said something to the right person.

He's just bragging about him finally doing something right lately. Just like they said in Sports Illustrated a couple of weeks ago, this guy should be hated by most fans for what he has done for example his betting and his mouth have both gotten him into trouble, but for some reason he finds a way for people to keep on accepting him and it's another instance of him digging out of his hole.

No, he makes alot of charitable donations and he's not saying ...look at me, I'm giving away money; and he gave it to someone who will make a difference in children lives because we all know he is not a role model :}

Theres other ways of bragging about how much money you got. Plus he didnt ask for the headlines. He made an unselfish move and a good deed.

Who cares about his gambling, like he said its his money. He earned it, he can give it away. Paying for someone's education is a noble thing to do.

No.  I don't alway agree with Chuck, but he has a pretty big heart.  Last year at the celebrity golf tournament at Edgewood Tahoe, Chuck donated $100K to Tahoe wildfire victims and held a dinner for the fire fighters.

He also donated $1 Mil after Hurricane Katrina.

I agree there are some celebrities that only do their good deeds when there is a camera around, but I don't think Chuck is one of them.
