Replacing luxury at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Charles-c8808 Kabore took some time out to discuss his future at the Stade Velodrome while talking to journalists
At Olympique de Marseille, Charles Kabore is a bit-part player and second choice of Didier Deschamps for the defensive midfield position behind http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alou-Diarra-c5259. However, the Burkinabe international is well-known for his versatility, something that could play
a crucial part in the business end of the campaign.
Though Kabore is finding it hard to get a regular spot in the starting XI, he might get more action if injuries play their role.
Currently playing for Burkina Faso in the African Cup of Nations, Kabore gave an interview to FIFA’s official website regarding his future at the Rhone clubs.
“For me, this does not change. For five seasons, I was in Marseille, and this is my second CAN. I’m not worried. The season is long. I have always been positive in life,” said the midfielder who has never really been given many chances to express himself
in the field.
Regularly linked with a move to Italian Serie A, Kabore spoke about his future at the club.
“My idea is to give the best of myself in each position. It’s good for me to be versatile because it allows me to be on the ground rather than on the bench. OM is a big club, there are many good players, there is competition. I do not want to leave Olympique
de Marseille, I just want to settle for a place.”
However, it still remains to be seen whether coach Didier Deschamps wants to put his faith on him or not. The 23-year-old has a lot of talent but so far, has not really realised his full potential which makes his future at the club a bit of a quagmire.
He was linked with a move away from the Stade Velodrome last summer but Deschamps chose to keep him in the side.
So far, the youngster has made just 82 appearances for Les Phoceens since joining them in 2008 out of which, most of them have been substitute appearances.
