Charles N’Zogbia hopes to create an attacking partnership with Darren Bent at Aston Villa – EPL News

Aston Villa had earlier confirmed the signing of N’Zogbia from Wigan Athletic for a reported fee of £9.5 million. Manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 McLeish wanted to sign a creative replacement for Ashley Young, who was the Villans’ main assist provider, and the former Wigan
winger has claimed that he will play his best role in creating goals at the Villa Park.
N’Zogbia hailed Bent’s free-scoring form from last season, where he collectively scored 17 goals for Sunderland and Aston Villa. The French international is hopeful that he will be able to complement and help Bent to score more goals next season.
The 27-year-old former Sunderland striker joined Aston Villa in the January 2011 and went on to become the club’s top goalscorer of the term by scoring nine goals in 16 matches.
"­Darren scored a lot of goals last season and I hope I can create even more for him and for myself," added the French international.
The 25-year-old French international is confident that he will fill the void left by the departures of Ashley Young and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emile-Heskey-c12468.
"He is a good striker and there’s also Gabby Agbonlahor and Emile Heskey, who are great players. We want to be ­exciting and entertaining,” the former Latics’ winger stated.
N’Zogbia has claimed that Aston Villa’s home ground, Villa Park, is his favourite venue to play at. The French international recalled his performances for Wigan Athletic at the Villa Park and has insisted that he would love to play at home.
"I don’t know why but I have always done well at Villa Park when I have played for Wigan. It makes me feel like I want to play there every day," the 25-year-old winger concluded.
Aston Villa will begin their upcoming 2011/12 Barclays Premier League campaign with an away fixture against Fulham at Craven Cottage on August 13, 2011.
