Charleston, SC Vacation?

im planning on going to south carolina (tomorrow at 5 AM!) so i need to know fast, how is the weather? is it super rainy because of the storm? is it worth going?

i'm in spartanburg, it has been very nice weather, but is suppose to have some thunder and rain tomorrow. charleston is a beautiful town, full of history.
