This is really a no contest. Burley was accustomed to fighting (and beating) middleweights and light heavyweights as well as heavyweights, he had more power and definetely a tougher chin than manos de pietras he was technically more versatile and very hard to bully, duran was a great fighter but he was too small to bother burley. Chalrey Burley was used to fighting much bigger and harder hitting opponents.

Though it's not an easy fight for him, I have to go with Charley Burley.  by all accounts he was nearly, or as good as, Sugar Ray Robinson.  Duran was GREAT at 135 and for one fight at 147.  Burley started at 147.  

If' Burley's nearly as good as Robinson, and given his opposition, Duran would have little chance of winning this fight.  He's not as great at the higher weight classes.  All the men he won titles form are not really in Burley's class.  

Duran is tough enough to survive and even make a fight of it but I just think Burley would have all the answers for anything Duran could offer.
