Charlie Adam: Liverpool are aiming for a positive start to the Premier League – EPL News
Newly signed Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam has claimed that he is working hard to start the upcoming 2011/12 Barclays Premier League season impressively and is confident that the recent friendly matches will help him settle at the Merseyside club.
The Scottish midfielder will be one of the four new players to play for Liverpool next season. Adam believes that it has always been different and difficult for a new player to start the campaign successfully.

that it will be hard for the Reds to get their desired positive start as they are playing in world’s most competitive football league.
"As new players it's totally different. We want to start well and win games. We are playing in one of the best leagues in the world and if we do that we'll be happy.” He said.

will also be Liverpool’s last friendly match of this season.
Adam is hoping for a positive home debut and wants to finish off the pre-season in style.

However, the 25-year-old midfielder has insisted that Liverpool are now focusing mainly on their first premier league fixture of the next campaign against Sunderland and aiming for a win against Steve Bruce’s men.
"But the focus for us is August 13th against Sunderland. That's when it all kicks off and we need to prepare right for that and win our first game at home," Charlie Adam concluded.
Liverpool are set to face a tough first month of the next campaign, as they will take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 in the second week and Bolton Wanderers in the third round of the 2011/12 English Premier League.
