Charlie Adam feels that Liverpool could finish in the top four by the end of the season, despite being considered as one of the teams that won’t be playing in the Champions League next season.
The Reds midfielder has gone on to reveal that the top four is still within http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809’s reach and it is only a matter of getting their act together to achieve that goal.
Liverpool are currently sitting in the seventh spot in the league and don’t seem to be heading into the top four any time soon.
However, despite being regarded as the team that is down and out, Adam feels that his side has the quality and ability to make it back to the Champions League this coming season.
The midfielder when talking about his and Liverpool’s ambitions for the future is quoted to have said: "It's still there, there's plenty of points to play for, you never know what is going to happen"
"We have been disappointed with the results as well but that's expected, we are a new team gelling, it takes time but we'll do everything we can.”
"For us it's trying to win every game and on the day it's not always happened for us.
"But we'll not stop working hard and keep doing the things that we know is right and trying to win as many matches as we can.”
Adam then went on to reveal that the plan is to focus on each game individually and look to claim maximum points from them one at a time.
Should the team be able to do this, then they could avoid dropping points and could potentially silence all their critics.
On paper, the way Adam is thinking is rather brilliant. However, looking at the squad that Liverpool have and how they have been finding it impossible to score, things don’t look so bright for the team.
Nonetheless, should Liverpool manage to avoid losing and drawing games against weaker teams, they could easily put up a fight till the end and the Reds could even finish in the top four. All the team really needs to do is stay focused and things could play
out in their favour, sooner rather than later.
