The former Blackpool man has admitted that he will work hard to prove himself to Liverpool’s next manager after Kenny Dalglish was dismissed from his role as the club manager by the club owners as they aim to take the Reds
in a difference direction....
Charlie Adam has made it clear that he is willing to work hard to prove himself to anyone who replaces Kenny Dalglish to earn a place in the Liverpool starting line up. Adam was signed by Liverpool in the previous summer transfer
window as the Reds signed him from Blackpool after they were relegated to the Championship.
It was Adam’s midfield dominance at Blackpool that made them tick but at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 things have not worked out as he expected. Adam has not hit the highs in his form that he did at Blackpool and as a result he also came under fire
from the press as well as the Liverpool fans.
The Scottish playmaker also has had to fend off competition from the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordan-Henderson-c19102 for his central midfield place as eventually Liverpool failed to even compete convincingly for the top four places of the Premier League
table and had to be content with finishing behind the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Tottenham Hotspur.
Adam stated, “Dalglish was a key factor in me going to Liverpool – but he’s gone now so we have to move on. I was surprised when he left but the owners make these decisions. They have been first-class since they came in and have
put a lot of money in to the club.”
He added, “Now we have to look to the future. Whoever comes in will be a top manager who is used to working with top players. It’s one of the best jobs in English football so it will be very attractive to a lot of people.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Martinez-c24468 has been touted up as the next manager for Liverpool as he has held meetings with John Henry, the club owner but things remain clouded at Anfield for the time being as Liverpool is going through yet another mini-crisis.
