Charlie Hills optimistic about the future races
Charlie Hills is looking to deliver some strong results in the upcoming events, as he has got a talented group of runners in his team. His father always aimed for the best and he is looking to follow the same footprints.
He stated, “By the end of April last year we had ten winners in the bag, this season we have double that. We made a determined effort to get started quicker this season.”
He has lined up talented runner Premium for the Cheshire Oaks and believes that things will be positive for her. He stated, “She has a wonderful temperament and, having won over one mile and a furlong, I have no doubt she will get further. She will go for
the Cheshire Oaks on Wednesday and I'm very keen to see how she does.”
Overall, the three-year-old filly doesn’t have any experience at all, as she has just started off her career. Despite that, she appears to be quite a confident performer and her opponents found that out during her first outing.
She made her debut in March this year and was rated as the favourite to succeed. There would have been a lot of pressure on her, but she coped up well in the end and finished on top of the table by half a length. Looking at that performance, it is pretty
much clear that she doesn’t like settling for lower positions.
However, things will start getting tough for her with the passage of time and it will be interesting to see whether she manages to deliver better results or not.
On the other hand, Hills is banking on some of his other runners too. One of those challengers is Jazz, who was unable to make an impression on debut. He was not rated as the favourite to succeed and there were some better runners up against him.
Therefore, the two-year-old colt failed to meet the expectations of his team back then and finished in fifth place overall. He has a chance to make a strong comeback though and things are looking quite positive for him.
According to Hills, Jazz has been training hard and will be in a much better position next time around.
