Charlotte Bobcats vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Both Milwaukee Bucks and Charlotte Bobcats remained surprise playoff participants in 2010. Each of them had very high expectations coming into this season. One of these early underachievers will earn their first victory as they meet Saturday night, October
30, 2010 at Bradley Center, Milwaukee.
Charlotte (0-2) went 44-38 and reached the playoffs for the first time in the franchise's six seasons. Milwaukee (0-2), meanwhile, won 46 games to snap a three-season postseason drought. Each team won twice at home to split the four-game series in 2009-10.
The performance of both competitors does not remain that impressive as what was expected. At the start of the season both teams expect to carry over the momentum earned from those successful seasons to this one but unfortunately both are not off to the kind
of starts they had hoped for.
After falling 101-86 at Dallas to open the season, the Bobcats lost 104-101 to Indiana at home on Friday. Charlotte lost just 10 times at home last season.
Wallace had 29 points against the Pacers, but the Bobcats were outscored 31-21 in the fourth quarter. Wallace is averaging just 9.8 points in 11 career games at Milwaukee.
After the match, Charlotte Bobcats forward, Gerald seemed to be very confident. During an interview with the Bobcats' official website he came up with a hopeful statement that beside early defeats, the team will never quit and they will continue their fight
until the end.
Bobcats coach Larry Brown said we really have to find a way not to keep turning the ball over.
The upcoming match is a wakeup call for Bobcats. Avoiding a third straight loss could be a challenge for the Bobcats, who went 13-28 away from home last season. The Bobcats are 1-10 all-time at Milwaukee, and averaged 89.2 points during a five-game skid
at the Bradley Center.
After going 28-13 at home last season, the Bucks should be excited to open that portion of their schedule on Saturday. However, the Bucks need to shoot the ball better if they want to carry over that success at the Bradley Center.
Milwaukee has shot 39.0 percent and averaged 88.0 in its two defeats. The Bucks shot 35.6 percent in a 96-85 loss at Minnesota on Friday.
Corey Maggette has scored 39 points in his first two games with Milwaukee. He has averaged 24.1 points in eight contests versus Charlotte.
Bucks guard, Brandon Jennings said, “I think right now they are like in Cruise control that is required to be changed fast”. Brandon had 14 points and seven assists in the Friday match.
The Milwaukee Bucks are heavy 79.2 percent favorites over the Charlotte Bobcats. The Bobcats are shooting 43.7 percent from the field and the Bucks are forecasted to shoot 45.8 percent. The Bucks have a rebounding average at 44.5 to 37.9. The Bucks are committing
fewer turnovers at 12.4 as compared to 14.6 for the Bobcats. The Bobcats are making 5.8 three pointers on 36.8 percent from three point range. The Bucks are making 6.1 three pointers on 38.8 percent.
However, it is all statistical data, the extra efforts and a strong defense can turn the game in favor of the struggling team. An extra effort can change the situation of a game at any point.
Both of the teams will be looking for a victory in order to enhance their image regarding their previous performances that were not really up to the mark. It is anyone’s game in tomorrow’s show down as both teams have not performed well in the previous matches.
