The former midfielder claims although Jose Mourinho is good enough to take over the reigns at Old Trafford, his outspoken manner means that he will never support him at the helm.

Many options are available to the 19-time champions but most people believe that Real Madrid’s Jose Mourinho will be the one to take over from Fergie, when he finally calls it a day.

While most pundits and fans are ready to back Mourinho, Sir Bobby believes that the trainer is far too controversial and pontificate to take charge of England’s most prestigious club, thus he won’t have his backing even if things were to change in the upcoming
few months.
"A United manager wouldn't do that. Mourinho is a really good coach but that's as far as I would go really. He's the manager of Real Madrid and we expect to play them in the Champions League by the end of the season,” said the ex-England International.
While Charlton criticized Mourinho for his demeanour, even he had to admit that there was perhaps no one in world football who could match his tactical nous on the pitch.
"You are right. He pontificates too much for my liking. He's a good manager, though,” Sir Bobby was quoted while speaking to the media.
