Charter Cable Problems....What Do I do at this point..any insider help?

I recently moved & got Charter Cable with DVR, HD Package, & Internet. Since I was a new customer they wouldnt let me do self install. Whatever, policy is policy. I had them install it. First, his install was hooking the DVR to the wall & laying it on the floor clear across the room from the TV because "they can't run extra cable". When he installed the modem, he just hooked it up & laid it on the floor. So I cleaned up after the $110 "install". Then the DVR doesn't work right. A tech came back out a week later & said "oh, I don't any replacement DVR's but you can take this one to the office & they can replace it. They stock them there". Keep in mind I had to take time off work to fit into their schedule. I take the box up there & the girl tells me "we don't have those here, sorry the tech told you to come here". So, I re-scheduled to have a tech come again today to "replace" the DVR, and they just called and said "we are out of DVR's, he is gonna come try to fix yours".

    All I can do is sympathize with you and welcome you to the world of overpriced inept monopolies.

    In addition you can expect small price increases three or four times a year. They are going to nickel & dime me until I give up and switch to satellite and DSL.

    Charter has to be the absolute worst EVER!
