I've just gotten chase freedom credit card, do I need a pin to use it? is it the same pin as my checking card?

no you don't need a pin to use it, you'll sign when you make a purchase when run as credit...and the pin has no connection to your debit card. it's a really good card, just call the number on the front and make a first purchase depending on when you input the app when you charge it for the first time you get a free 10$ or 50$ credited to the card for you....just make sure you pay it off!
