Chatterer tipped to win Bath Marquees Fillies´ Handicap
Chatterer is expected to prevail in the Bath Marquees Fillies´ Handicap at Chepstow in England on Monday, June 4, 2012. The winner of the class-5 event will be awarded a cash prize of £2,264.
The going will be good to soft in the 1 mile, 4 furlong and 23 yard event, which is scheduled to start at 14:40 GMT. A total of 10 runners have been attracted towards it and their names are as follows: Chatterer, Isdaal, Lady Of Burgundy, New River, Agadir
Summer, Devoted, Shy, Belleau, Lily In Pink and Astragal.
Looking at the recent performances of a few runners, it appears that the competition will be a tough one at Chepstow today. However, Chatterer seems to have the best momentum, thus her chances of winning are more than anyone.
The four-year-old filly has participated in nine races until now, winning one of them and finishing runner up on three occasions. In addition to that, she has also secured the third spot on four times, which means that she only failed once to make it to
the top three.
The Marcus Tregoning’s trainee struggled at bit on her debut run, as she finished 10th overall. However, she went onto improve her performances afterwards and never disappointed her team. Victories have dried up for her though, thus the punters
might be a touch hesitant over placing bets in her favour.
In her most recent race, Chatterer performed really well, but failed to take the top spot. Her difference to the winner was marginal, which shows that she is carrying excellent form right now. She will be partnered by seasoned jockey, George Baker, who has
enjoyed plenty of success at this level and has been performing well recently.
On the other hand, New River has managed to win the confidence of the bookies, as she is a decent performer. However, she has never won any race, which will discourage the bettors from risking money on her.
The four-year-old filly has got extremely good stamina, thus a solid performance is expected from her. She finished runner up in her previous outing, but has a solid chance of breaking the shackles at Chepstow.
Looking at the ground, there is a possibility that Chatterer might miss the race. In that case it will be easy for New River to take the top position in the end.
