I keep seeing pictures of him on shirts and posters and I always thought to myself, what was he famous for?? I saw a picture of him somewhere with a quote under it that stated, "Think like him" or something along the lines of that. Were his views good or bad so I'll know if the poster was just a bunch of BS and won't follow it. Was he a good or bad person?? If you don't have a definite answer provide some info on him so I can gather my own opinion.

  1. OK WELL IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOU CUZ I THINK HE DID SOME GOOD AND BAD STUFF. YOU CAN LOOK HIM UP ON en.wikipedia.org IT WILL GIVE YOU HIS WHOLE LIFE EVEN A BIOGRAPHY!

  2. do the research, i personally think he is a piece of ****.

  3. well if you want an opinion you should form it yourself from the information you can gather.

Personally I think that his intentions were as pure as snow, and he did what he did with the general public in mind.  He used guerilla methods to try to overthrow dictators that either exploited their own people or allowed the american megalomaniacs to do so (united fruits, coffee companies, mining companies)

According to the cia's standard that made him a terrorist

according to the south americans that made him a hero

    decide for yourself

  4. Whether Che Guevara was a good or bad person is completely subjective to the individual. Ernesto "Che" Guevara was an idealist who believed that social change and the elimination of poverty could only be achieved through armed conflict and became involved in revolutionary movements in 3 different countries.Che met Fidel Castro in Mexico in 1954, and served his Guerilla forces a physician and military commander during the Cuban revolution(1956-59). He later became an activist in lefist movements in Congo and Latin America. He was leading a force aganist the Bolivian government when he was killed in 1967.

I personally believe that he may have had good intentions by wanting to free the supressed however, he played a major role in putting Castro into power. In a sense Castro embodies everything that Che was fighting aganist.

  5. People are not just good and bad, like all of us he had good parts of his personality but in the eyes of many people he was a villain with dangerous ideas.  He grew up wealthy and priviledged, attended medical school, then became a communist guerilla before being executed by the CIA in Bolivia.  He was very intelligent and articulate, but he was a trained killer and Fidel Castros second in command.  He had a strong adherence to communist doctrine, believed in communal living, and even when he became a higher up in the Cuban hierarchy he still did volunteer labor on the weekends and lived a spartan lifestyle.  He was firmly anti-West believing that western colonialism was a cancer on the human condition, and believed that capitalists' debauchery and decadent lifestyles were responsible for the breakdown of society.  He is still very popular and revered in the hispanic culture especially in South/Central America and of course Cuba because he and Castro had the testicular fortitude to stand up to Western powers especially to the United States.  Many believe he was a great man, many believe he was a jackbooted thug.  Do some reading on him and the Cuban revolution and form your own opinion of him.

  6. In some ways he was good-his ideology was to unite South America, so maybe the economies of its states could have improved. But he also applied terrorist methods.

  7. well it all really depends on your viewpoint. For average joes ofcuba (?) he was a hero..but to the "government" he was a villain..similiar to V in V for Vendetta
