Question:

Cheap, Easy Recipes?

I was wondering if anyone could point me toward a website with some cheap, easy recipes. I'm a college student with access to a full kitchen, but my financial resources are limited. Any suggestions as far as a place where I can find some recipes for good food that won't set me back financially?

  4. I understand completely!  I am a mom trying to feed a family of four and it is tough.  Whenever I am strapped for cash I go to recipes that have 5 ingredients or less.  There are many sites located on the web with recipes such as this.  I went shopping today for groceries and spent $50 on dinner for the next 6 days using these type of recipes.  Now remember that is for a family of four.  I am sure you can stretch it with leftovers.  Here is one of my favorites.

Cooking with Monkey is so fun.

He cracks me up with his little

antics and has alot of pretty simple

    and yummy ideas !

Well worth the chuckle and alot of

    cheap recipes.

  12. kraft foods has some good recipes.  Obviously, you don't have to use their brands, which can save you money.  Stews, soups, chili and spaghetti are all inexpensive and you can cook once and have "planned overs" - especially if you have some freezer space.  Or make a small pot roast and then enjoy the rest of the beef for sandwiches, salads and reheats throughout the week.

  13. I have discovered since I came on to this site that people are contributing from all over the world so your question is difficult,

my suggestion is google recipes for students, work around that

    and see what comes up.
